Our Journey
What began as the Mombasa Teachers' Consumer Cooperative in the early 1990s has evolved into a trusted platform for advancing social justice. With the guidance of Kituo Cha Sheria, the need for legal education on critical issues such as land rights and housing fueled the birth of ILISHE TRUST. Today, we proudly stand as an independent organization fostering bold, engaged, and flourishing communities.
